Responsibilities :

1. Analyze and evaluate investment opportunities across asset classes, including fixed income, equities, mutual funds, and alternative investments, in accordance with the company’s investment policy.
2. Monitor portfolio performance, yield, duration, and risk metrics to ensure alignment with liability profiles and solvency requirements.
3. Prepare regular investment reports for management, Investment Committee, and Board of Directors.
4. Support Asset-Liability Management (ALM) analysis, including cash flow matching, duration analysis, and stress testing.
5. Track market trends, interest rate movements, and macroeconomic developments, and assess their impact on the investment portfolio.
6. Coordinate with internal teams (actuarial, finance, risk, compliance) and external parties (fund managers, custodians, investment advisors).
7. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements from the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC) and relevant accounting standards (e.g. IFRS).
8. Assist in due diligence and ongoing monitoring of external fund managers and investment products.

9. Maintain accurate investment data and documentation to support audits and regulatory reviews.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in investment analysis, portfolio management, or related roles, preferably within a life insurance
3. Strong knowledge of fixed income instruments, bond valuation, yield analysis, and interest rate risk.
4. Understanding of life insurance investment considerations, including ALM, solvency ratios, and long-term liability management is plus.
5. Familiarity with regulatory requirements for insurance investments (OIC regulations preferred).
6. Experience in preparing management or Investment Committee reports.

7. Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modeling and investment systems is an advantage.
8. Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
9. Good communication skills in both Thai and English (written and verbal).

10. Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or progress toward certification will be an advantage.

1. Perform underwriting for medical cases, result according to company’s policy and guidelines.
2. Risk selection and category the risk which impacted to the company’s operating result.
3. Keep guard for protect the company from over-insurance in order to reduce over-utilized claim and increase company’s persistency.

Coaching people and monitoring :

1. Supervise and educate team staff to understand core concept of risk selection process and technical knowledge.
2. Monitoring and auditing general daily UW rountine work to ensure that the team staff always perform align on the proper ethical practice.
3. Encourage team staff to achieve their target and utilize their potential.

Planning and development:

1. Simpify general daily rountine work and reduce human and process effort by maximize the utility of obtained tools, especially using IT facility and provide improvement process.
2. Advice in order to strengthen work efficiency , good morale, and teamwork.

Support and coordinating with related person :

1. Communication and coordinate with internal and external customer in order to ensure work completion smoothly and successfully.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor’s degree in medical science as Nurse, Medical Technology, or other medical field related.
2. At least 7 years of Experience in Med Underwriting field (Individual Life Insurance).
3. Strong Management and Leadership Skill.
4. Have a proven track record of coordinating with international reinsurers.
